I'm all for spence leaving

Peltier can play there, McNair can play there, Howson can play there.

That's a plan B, C and D.

The transfer window opens again in 20 games if all 4 players are somehow stricken down with injuries in that time.

Both him and Coulson were good when they came into the team but seemed to have gone backwards, loan deals will make or break them. Win win.
 
It looks like we are going back to a back 4 - the natural wing backs have all left - Johnson, Spence and Coulson.

I guess we needed Spence off the wage bill and the Club felt he needed a change.
 
All I can say is warnock knows his squad and works with the players everyday. Maybe he can see decent back up from the likes of kokolo.
 
I simply don't see the logic in terms of needing him off the wage bill or more so loaning him to a team in the same league. Also we definitely ain't 'better' for him leaving (unlike say Britt if we'd loaned him out).

I genuinely think the gaffer just wants him out of the building. We've heard things about attitude going back to Fulham. Also how he forgets everything he's told within 10 mins of a match.

I don't think it's his ability more so his following of instructions and maybe level of training (it was commented on last week how it was 'better'). You wouldn't say it's 'better' if it wasn't bad.
 
We are certainly no worse for him gone , NW has had a LONG time to try & improve him & obviously the conclusions for Spence are not very good , maybe they think a kick up the ar5e & shock may or may not wake him up . Personally think he is a easy come & go merchant, good athlete , not a footballing brain cell whatsoever...........time will tell
 
Apparently Spence signed a new contract before he left. He's gone to Forest to play right back so I think it's an opportunity for him to go and play some games in that position. I'm not his biggest fan, but he has improved lately. I get the impression that Warnock doesn't like his attitude so maybe he will come back in the summer with a clean slate.
