Inside the Force 24/7.

Casual sex, underage sex, lack of contraception, using pregnancy to get a rent free property allegedly…
Sadly the final point is a valid reason. Ms R worked for years helping young girls in this position. Most got pregnant to escape abusive fathers. Complete lack of investment in these poor souls meant that the children have little chance.

A women and her five lads move into the street. Next day the lads are playing football outside. Her new neighbour talks to the women on the door step, trying to be friendly.
“Hi luv, what do they call your lads”?
“They are all called Shane”.
“ What, all of them”?
“Yes, I like the name Shane”.
“Isn’t it a bit confusing though? When you shout them, how do they know who it is you mean”?
“I call them by the surname. Ow Smithy, yer tea’s out”!

(One of Chubby’s).

There is no shortage of posters willing to look down on others.

It's a shame really.
Just a joke mate but this is real life policing in Middlesbrough nowadays. There is no respect. Police and NHS staff, ambulance workers and Fire fighters are getting attacked for trying to help people. We had nowt in Falmouth Street when I grew up in the 1960s so I NEVER look down on people. We had no internet / mobile phones to warn us about the dangers and we couldn’t afford booze or drugs. Call it gallows humour but you need it in the Boro nowadays. People always blame the Government, the Council, everybody but themselves. If you think it is bad nowadays in this Country watch Simon Reeves documentaries of people around the world who definitely have nowt. The wars, the desolation, the starvation. That is why people want to come over here. It’s a shame that people living in this Country don’t realise how lucky they are compared to most of the world.
