It’s a good move by the club, I hope also this is rolled out to any supporter who wants to buy a season ticket…not just early Bird, think of ways to attract new fans. Now Interest free season ticket options released by the club
25% up front, then further payments in April, May and June. Great move by the club, and long overdue
£5 admin charge to cover

I will probably renew for me and my son now, I can budget and we can still afford a decent holiday.Great news will definitely be using they are learning. It could have been better eg spread more over a 12 month period but payments over 4 months alot more affordable for people than a 1 lump sum upfront especially if your buying multiple season cards as a family. Will definitely renew ours now
Probably because the balance is due to be paid before the start of the season so the club can still cancel the ticket and issue a refund if payments aren’t made.It reads as if it's not a credit agreement so no finance company involved. Just an agreement between the club and the individual
It's a 25% deposit with 3 payments, 1 each in April, May and June. So the club is still getting the money in well before the season starts.I thought the point of the early bird was to get the cash up front so we had the money to spend on transfers. If we're deferring payment until later in the year then we don't need the early bird deadline to be so early.
It is a good option though. I wonder how many people would choose the option even if they didn't need it with it being interest free. If it's there next year and every season ticket holder did it then it could really affect cash flow. I know I would pay £5 to pay over several months instead of all at once. Is the £5 admin per ticket or if you buy for a whole family is it a one-off £5?
Yes - that is the plan. It’s a good move by the club, I hope also this is rolled out to any supporter who wants to buy a season ticket…not just early Bird, think of ways to attract new fans.
