Is it still on?

Can we pip Norwich to 6th?

No, it would have been unlikely even if we'd won last night, but I'd say it's gone now.

We'd need to win all 4 and hope for Norwich to only win 1 of 4.
That's ignoring Coventry, Preston, Hull too.

The club and Carrick can't write it off yet, but I think the chance has gone.

Weirdly I'd say somehow it's still possible. It's not beyond the realms of possibility that we beat Ipswich and Norwich lose away to Preston, which means we'd be 3 points behind them. It's very unlikely but definitely not impossible.

And I would say no chance of us beating both Ipswich and Leeds.
(If we are going to win one, please make it Leeds).

No chance.

Even if we were level on points id say we had very little chance.
We still have Ipswich and Leeds to play. They have 4 games left and 3 are against god awful teams, in Brum, Swansea and Preston (how they are above us I will never know)

not with our remaining fixtures.

We COULD win all 4, equally we could lose all 4.

my bet would be LDWD, which wont be enough.

I don't feel there's any point in saying that it's over until it's mathematically impossible.

Norwich's next two games could be tricky. They're away at Preston, who are just outside the playoffs, and then they play in-form Bristol City, who won 5-0 last night.

If Norwich only manage 1 point from those games and we win our next 2, Norwich will have to win their final 2 games to guarantee finishing above us (assuming we win our final 2). Pressure may just get to them.

I'm clutching at straws of course, I don't think we will make the playoffs but you just never know.

Weirdly, I’d say it’s still possible that I might wake next to Katy Perry one fine morning and she utterly adores me. It’s not beyond the realms of possibility, however……
