It’s official !

Only just seen the result.
The West London Mob called us a "small club" after we got walloped in London.
Does that make Everton too, a "small club"?

What if they get relegated, go into administration - then get liquidated?
Instead of 'small club' could be 'no club'

Sell the new stadium to pay off the debts - a fitting reward for cheating

Difference is Roofie, we scored when they hit us for six, the blue scousers didn’t (even though our scorer has moved on to pastures new) 😀

Is the YHA Priory still open, just round the corner from the High Street?
I stayed there for a night, not long before covid and was amazed at the history in there - including the glass floor over where there had been a Priest hole and the architecture. For a small place it was wonderful. I cycled from Goole, through Gilberdyke and Little Weighton, coming down the hill through that ancient woodland. That was beautiful, until I looked rightwards and got an eyeful of the council flats and tower blocks of Hull, not very far away! The next day I headed for Scarborough. Cracking part of the world, East Riding

Yes mate, as far as I know it is, its proper name is Beverley Friary. It’s got decent reviews, and is situated in the magnificent surroundings of the Minster, tucked away on Friars Lane. Agree with your sentiments regarding E Riding insofar as everyone raves about the N Yorks Moors and the Yorkshire Dales (and rightly so), but the East Yorkshire Wolds are a delight in their own right, and if people have not sampled a visit before, then they don’t know what they are missing. The Wolds Inn at Huggate do a cracking home made steak pie!
