Middlesbrough Council and Middlesbrough Football Club Foundation have today announced plans to develop the site of the old Southlands centre.

7 years after Labour Mayor Dave Budd put aside £1m to develop the site, finally the new Labour mayor Chris Cooke with the Football club foundation have agreed to build a new community centre, Sports hall and new football pitches.

A Labour council finishing what we started; that others didn't.
