It's remarkably quiet on booking tickets for QPR

I know they go on sale at 3pm but I can't work out if that is because many people aren't going now or everyone is keeping their powder dry for the mad scramble, hopefully it is a bit of the 1st because I am relying on them going to GS.

I'm a corporate member, so had access to the tickets at 10am this morning. The queue on the phone for the ticket office when I called to buy them at 10:00am was massive, which suggests there was a lot of interest from corporates.. that generally replicates to the interest right across the fan base. I do, however, think they'll go on general sale.

Me too! I think they will hit general sale.

I'd guess there's a lot of people with just under 70 points - if you go to a lot of games but don't have a ST, all you have right now are the points from last season. So I'm guessing there'll be a surge of purchases in the 12-70 point level that might just stop them going on general sale.

2,900 tickets should keep STs happy.

QPR is not Old Trafford.
Yeah but there is a buzz about the club at the moment, it is our 1st away match and it is in London. So GS might be a mad scramble at 3pm on Friday.
However they released them late so as per my question who knows?

What exactly is a 'corporate' member?

Hopefully won't sellout until after Friday🤞.

I'm in with the 12 point crew (despite having 32). It seems a big gap from 70 down to 12.

I had the same problem, then it just rectified itself like magic.
It's never easy.
Only 160 remaining in the top tier after 30 minutes of sales from 15:00.
Good luck!
We have shifted 1400 tickets in that time, I am possibly phooked🤣 When you take into consideration there are probably still lots trying to get their families and friends done today.

Thankfully sorted, after the inevitable glitch and then not taking my card details the first 3 times.

Box, advertiser, shirt sponsor etc. Effectively someone who provides more money to the club than someone who has held a ST for a long time and therefore jumps the queue over us.
I've tried to find out via the fans forum (through this site) how many tickets are syphoned off for this before the loyalty scheme
Not had an answer yet .
I think the thousands of fans signing up the transparent loyalty points scheme have a right to know.

Yes, my original question was semi-rhetorical. Two issues. Firstly that it's happening. You could argue for or against that. But, secondly, why don't we know about it? The fact that we don't makes it look a bit shifty. That if you are a certain class of 'member' you can 'phone in and get your ticket before everyone else and without having to fight your way through the on-line system. The club should be open about it. How many tickets are sold this way? And how many 'extras' are these 'members' allowed to acquire?

Exactly, I think everyone knows it goes on, but it's the sneaky nature of it and the contradictions compared to some of the messaging around why you'd get a season ticket.

Have a box at the Riverside through work... also have a personal season ticket which I've held for 30 years.. so don't know what you mean by 'us'.

1 for every box season card, same as all season card holders. There are 12 season cards in the box.
