Indeed, after Kane he ( Toney ) is - by far - England's best striker..

I'd be taking Palmer & Bowen ahead of Gordon & Sterling.. Madison would also be missing out..

Gordon is in great form at the moment. No way can he miss out

Ollie Watkins has 22 goals and 10 assists this season, not sure how that isn't coming close, or surpassing him for that matter.

I don't think Gordon gets in either. There's probably 6 spots for the 3 positions behind the striker.

Saka, Foden and Bellingham are certainties. 3 players left from

Palmer
Rashford
Bowen
Grealish
Gordon
Maddison

I think Rashford will go because he's a 3rd option as a striker. Palmer should be a certainty. Grealish probably goes if fit but if not I would have Bowen and Maddison in front of Gordon.

I don't really see how he gets in unless there's 2 or 3 injuries.
 
He has to go. He is the most 'like for like' if Kane gets crocked. Also handy for penalty's. Although so much more to him than that.

I like Watkins. Yet a completely different type of CF and not really the best fit for the way England play.

I'd be surprised if Toney / Watkins and Brown don't go. They all deserve a place in the side. You'd take all 3 on form. Yet we know Gareth will favour Rashford over all of them🙁

I agree, Rashford as 3rd backup striker & certainly from the left for England he's a threat ( if out of sorts at MU, ATM )

Bowen & Palmer are both able to do a central role if needed, & though Watkins has ability I think Villa are getting the absolute most out of him, he's a very decent forward just not the same level as Kane & Toney.. or offering more than the backup central players England could take..

Bowens got 19 goals already this season, and was arguably Englands best player against Belgium.
It's a competitive position but I'd be very happy if Bowen was in the squad.
