Left back, once very highly rated, quick and direct. Gone to Watford from Newcastle on a season loan. Why are we not in the mix for players like him. We are desperate for a left back. He’s experienced in the championship and gets up and down, is athletic and a good engine. He’s contracted up the road, surely a deal could have been done. Baffling in my opinion.

I agree right sort of player for us. He will be on Premier League wages, maybe Watford are paying them all as they have parachute payments.

31 games for Newcastle in 3 years, suggests he is quite a bit off Premier League standard.
