In my opinion. I can’t stand listening to his co-commentary. He is a terrible, terrible co-commentator. I can’t abide it. He is so smug. Or that’s how he comes across. He’s made Gary Neville worse as well.

Its a lot easier listening to him when Liverpool are *****. I like neville he is very balanced and gives good insight.
I hate carragher but would rather listen to him with his passion for football than Keown, Alan Smith, Lee Dixon, goodman and hinchcliffe.

I think they’re both great.
Here he was referring to an old Gary Neville quote when he was asked if he’d prefer Liverpool or Man City to win the league. Neville said it was like being asked to pick someone to steal his wife.

Obviously think it was disgusting what he did few years ago with the spitting but if he’s remorseful which I’m sure any sane human would be I can get behind him again now, I think Sky Sports needs Carragher and Neville. They do generate good debates and give detailed analysis. MNF is fantastic. I do prefer Carragher in the studio though to commentary and think Neville is great at both.

Pundits rarely get under my skin like they seem to with others.
Even Steve McManaman doesn’t bother me. They’re just people giving their opinion, they’re all way more qualified to give it than me so I just let them get on with it.

Can't stand the bloke to be honest. A relative of mine used to work at Anfield in the hospitality areas and came into contact with him on a number of occasions and said he is an absolute pr1ck. Full of his own self importance, no manners, arrogant. I heard all of this prior to the spitting incident so I wasn't exactly surprised with his behaviour. Would prefer to never see him on my TV screen again.

Watching any sky game for example, Liverpool v Brighton why on earth should we listen to a biased scouse commentator. commentate on his home town club. SKY are cheats.
