I’d definitely like to see us invest in a decent right back.

With Tommy Smith likely to be crocked for a while. I’m not overly convinced that Rav is the best long term option.

He’s solid enough but just think he’s too clunky in possession. He very much looks like a CB filling in at RB. I have no doubt he will be a top class CB down the line - I do like him.

Dijksteel doesn’t look like he’ll be getting many minutes with the exception of injuries - shame I do like big Anf but it’s the one area of the team we can definitely improve.

I agree on Rav - Really like him but he isn't quite there yet. However, the only way hes going to improve is to play, and he chose Boro over top European teams because he wanted to play.

Perfect opportunity for him coming into a confident team on a 6 game winning streak in my opinion.

My 1st choice Ladislav Krejci has been out injured so may be out of the reckoning.

Ramsey - Rogers - 3 goal contributions.. 2 less than Ramsey.. Greenwood looks more like our Ramsey replacement and he's already surpased his contribution.
Akpom - Latte Laff - 7 goals.. one goal behind our record breaker
Mowatt - O’Brien - superb replacement but missing through injury.. I believe Mowett missed a lot of last season through injury too
Giles - Bangura - 4 goal contributions in 9 appearances from Bangura, Giles got 11 assists in 43 games.. 4 assists in the 2nd half of the season.

27 points after 21 games.. the same as last season. Looks like the plan is working very well..

We've still to bring in a replacement for Archer imo.. McGree, O'Brien & Forss are still to return and it would make sense to reinforce our back line with Smith and Lenihan out
