Fans and club invested so much effort to get him here, when he arrived I was slightly underwhelmed. That is not to say that he was a bad player, he was quite good, but more that I had expectations that were clearly too high.

Agree. Not nearly as good as he’s given credit for. A 1 in 4 striker in the second tier isn’t great.

He was probably the forward who suffered the most bad luck in front of goal than any other. He could have been on 10 goals by the time he got his first 3 vs Millwall

I might be completely misremembering this but I always thought he played as a 10 rather than a centre forward?
