The great mercy of that transfer window is that we didn't get Jese or Bojan. I think even Delofeu would have been a flop: he's never made it beyond being a fits and starts player.
They'd have done no better than what we signed but, and I realise this is a relative term, at least Gestede was the cheap option.

Took the words right out of my mouth Newyddion. That was a disastrous window for us so who knows how they would have performed under Karanka. Just take Djiksteel and Bola for example who were written off on here by many but just needed a change of manager/fortunes/run in the team or whatever to show they were good players.

imagine if we’d have managed to bring in Fisher, Watmore, Mendez-Laing, Kebano and Bolasie back then!! we’d have had a better chance of avoiding the drop for sure!!

Jese wouldn't have performed under anybody. He was more interested in becoming a pop star, driving flash cars and loose women. I remember putting up a video of him 'performing' - an absolute first grade wonker.
