Joe Laidlaw RIP

I put this on the other thread regarding Joe Laidlaw making his debut but it seems more fitting to be on here.

Joe Laidlaw was my first user name and it was chosen due to him being one of my first Boro favourites. I have great memories of going to watch him play in the 60's and 70's and feel today a part of my childhood has gone.

RIP Joe, my thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends.

Regarding the Joe Laidlaw song, wasn't the words 'whose that knocking on the window, whose that knocking on the door.'

Spoke to Joe a few years ago in the Pompey players lounge, asked him why he hadn't moved back up nearer home, he just said "it's to effing cold up there "
