Joe Lumley

As was rightly pointed out to me on another thread this league is mental and anything can happen, look at what happened to him last Saturday

Of course. Silly me.
We didn’t have to have a clause saying that he couldn’t play against us. I seem to remember that the Skunks failed to include such a clause and he scored against them in Premier League.

I bet he is laughing his t*ts off tonight.
I said on here Lumleys not our problem anymore, if he makes mistakes we wont be suffering because of it just let him be, we have our own issues with our own keeper, he has my worried everytime the opposition get close to our area, hopefully he proves me wrong

Lets also remember when he did play against us coming on as a sub after the QPR was sent off & earning the MOTM award, probably why we bought him

Clean sheet tonight too & againt the championship leaders

It's more to do with the fact Blackburn have just been battered at Reading whilst we're sitting with 3 points from 4 games with no victories.

However, I've no doubt we'll be well above them come May, but he'll be pleased right now I'd guess ;)

Apparently Blackburn were absolutely terrible tonight. Reverting to type after a decent start.

The Championship is a crazy league at times - it felt top v bottom last night with Reading playing Blackburn and it ended up 3-0 - shows dufferences are not big between the teams.

Said this before but think it's worth repeating. Got to know him a little via friends and he is a lovely and genuinely caring bloke.

Easy to forget these are people when they earn such crazy sums of money and live in a world we cannot fathom from our normality. In the context of that crazy world Joe has a humility you wouldn't expect.

But at the same time, I don't think he's the keeper we need and did cost us a lot of points. Wish the lad well for his future in the same way that I'm sure that most genuine boro fans would

He did seem like a top bloke to be fair

I don't think it's a choice now is it? It just doesn't make sense players playing against their parent club, it's a potential conflict of interest
