John Bramwell - I Am Kloot - Waiting Room

Yes looking forward to it. Tickets booked.

Did not realise I Am Kloot spit up years ago. Thought they were just on hiatus.

Would have gone if I didn't have covid.

Missed his recent Great Ayton gig too, anyone go to that one?
Yes it was very good - sorry - he had been ill and so it was his first gig since illness. It was a great atmosphere. I noticed that his gig the night before Waiting Room is actually at the other Ayton up near Berwick.

This seems to be a sell out. No tickets available on See Tickets. Is there any other places they sell them.

If anyone has a spare I would gladly buy it. I have mine but someone who is visiting my friend now wants to go.

Has he got links to this area, he seems to like coming back? Did see them a few years back I think it was in the Westgarth SC

I remember blaggamuffin saying that JB approached him for that Westgarth gig because he wanted a good audience to judge the response to the tracks they were considering putting on their new album, which was later shortlisted for the Mercury. I think previously I saw him at The Knights at an early TKASG show, which had a belting atmosphere, so I guess that stuck with him.

Absolutely cracking night. Ably supported by Elaine Palmer. Not a bad song all night, good banter with the crowd, and a very respective audience.

For the guy who asked what was the song I asked for that John couldn't remember. It is this Big Tears and yes it is on the B-Sides album as you guessed.

One of my favourite I Am Kloot songs ever.

Yes great night, and as you said not a bad song all night.
Really enjoy those gigs at the waiting room, especially as there's a good choice of ale too.

TBH thats one of the things I don't like. I like a few real ales but they are that diverse in their flavours sometimes that you are knackered if there is none you like(like all beers obviously). Plus the move is very much towards IPAs and not bitters. Having at least one traditional beer or cider would work for me but obvioulsy not every would like my choices. Used to like the Sam Smiths OBB but they have got rid if it and just have Sam Smiths Stout. Still I got away with the Moors bitter last night. Thing is next time I go it will be something totally different. Que Sera Sera. (y)

They do a good pint of Tetleys Imperial in the pub over the road.

I know what you mean but get a bit fed up with gigs where they just cater for those who like bland fizzy lager.
Hopefully the playbrew beer especially brewed for twistarella will be decent
