Even though Rock and Blues are my musical preferences I always enjoyed gems from other genres.
On Saturday night the Albert Hall via Stuart Maconie did a Northern Soul Prom and it’s a couple of hours of pure joy. I was surprised I knew so many of the tracks but if you fancy 2 hours of backflippin, spins off a push trip down memory lane it’s on BBC Sounds radio 3 and will be on the TV on August 24th
