July 30th Train Strikes and West Brom Match

I have been trying to find out, if the train strikes are affecting The Grand Central trains as I'm supposed to be coming up with them for the game, but not sure if they are also affected as they are run by Arriva. Not sure if anyone on here has had a similar issue?

the strike on July 30th is an ASLEF (Drivers) dispute.

Grand Central Trains are not affected. (they have a multi-year pay deal in place that will be honoured by both sides)

Ah great thank you. Managed to persuade some non boro fan mates to come watch the match with the lure of a night out in Newcastle afterwards, but assuming the strikes will affect the route from Boro to Newcastle

I am coming back from London that day. I will just turn up and get on first train I can if possible. I am assuming they are running a limited service.

Not checked yet but anyone know if Northern are on strike. They were not listed with train companies striking when it was announced.

Even if trains are on I don't think there's one available to get away fans home.
