Just 1 home win from last 6

In the league.
And Bristol have had some really good away results in recent time.
I just hope we can find a way to stay in touch of the top six, even if we don't make it.
Hate mid table games .
Desperate for investment in the summer imo
UTB Always

The championship is very tough this year.
The 3 teams that were relegated from the Premier League are all high quality.
Even teams in the mid table or in the relegation zone. They all have skilled managers joining them.
This year, I feel like Carrick is trying to be more results-oriented.
Our team didn't just attack like last year.
Modern tactics seem to be fighting everywhere, in every position, in every zone.
It doesn't seem as fun as before. But I have to admit that If you don't adapt, there is a high chance of losing.
Changing players almost the entire team And then there's the club's finances involved. Managers are already going to have a lot of trouble.

We have absolutely zero chance of making the play offs and people need to realise this. Way to inconsistent, concede way to many goals and miss to many chances. Hopefully this is addressed in the summer
Without a doubt. Playoffs definitely not happening. Hopefully the squad can be kept together and strengthened in the summer. This season feels very much transitional.

Inconsistency has been dictated to an extent by injuries, but not allowing that to be a complete excuse.

We are definitely getting caught too much on the counter, and there is a clear lack of positional awareness regardless who has played at the back this season.

Yesterdays goal we conceded summed it up, Ayling and Engel both caught up the pitch, Fry attracted to the ball instead of holing a central position, then a sprinkle of pure schiteness from the keeper.

Typical of the goals we have conceded all season, and thats what has created the inconsistency for me.

Worrying. We’re only 4 points off the playoffs, it’s not an insurmountable gap. But lose to Bristol and I can’t see us making it up. I think it’s the first ‘must win’ game of the season.

Can't see us making the play-offs with the state of the squad and the lack of reinforcements in January.

Still got a chance, but we don't score anywhere near enough at home and regularly concede soft goals.

Sadly injuries/international tournaments have killed us.

We had 4 CM's playing yesterday.
Our only fit striker playing wide right, as when jones is injured he is the only play we can trust to track back effectively out there ( as demonstrated how we capitulated when Forss went off).
Coburn needs an OP now, pointless playing him as he is, like playing a man down.
Glover showed exactly why he is a second choice. Has had some good games and very capable at times, but has made plenty of technical mistakes, just so happens they hadn't been punished until now

We are going to be consistently 'only 4 points/3 points/1 point from the play off spots' from now until the end of the season, without ever getting into 6th place, in my opinion. Looking at the fixtures remaining I could see a good run being put together from Plymouth at home to Southampton at home, but Hull have recruited well, and we're in such a tight chasing group looking for the last play off spot.

Zero chance?

Ah well f*ck it. We may as well pack up now and not bother seeing as though we don't have even as small as a 1% chance of finishing in the top 6 in which we're 4 points off with 16 games to play

Bed wetters out in force of late.

Yep, zero chance. Won 12 Lost 12 tells you all you need to know about this season and will probably continue in that vain.

Nothing "bed wetting" about being realistic, you keep telling yourself we're only 4 points of 6th, we'll still be 4-6 points off come last couple of games, it doesn't mean we will ever get there, newsflash, we won't

Being "4 points off the playoffs" is so misleading. There are five teams between Boro and the playoffs, and goal difference too. All those teams are not going to suddenly start losing runs.

Overtaking 6 teams is possible but it will take a significant winning run, at a time when Boro are struggling to win two in a row.

Maybe the "bed wetters" are just realists.

It’s not zero.. but we do need our best players on the pitch rather than the treatment table.

This season is defo transitional.. that’s not to say playoffs/promotion are completely off the table.

So those 'realist' fans genuinely think being 4 points off 6th place with 16 games to go means there's 'zero chance' of finishing in the top 6?

Sounds exactly what 'bet wetting' means, straight after a disappointing result.
We’ve got Leicester, Southampton, Ipswich and Hull away. Plus a home game against Leeds.

To make the playoffs Boro needs to start winning consistently. That hasn’t happened all season. Our home form is poor, we concede soft goals and are not clinical enough when in control of games. Those issues are not going away.

Yes it's called being a realist, didn't decide yesterday that we wouldn't make the play off's it's been obvious for weeks. The 2 Rotherham games showed it

Ah sound.

If you can predict the future and you're that certain. I'll have Wednesday's lottery numbers please.

Doesn't matter with the fact we'll be getting some of our first teamers back, added to the fact we're only 4 points off top 6....
