When I was an underage drinker stubbies of French lager was all the rage.

I remember this too! Infinitely better than drinking White Lightening. Later on we somehow thought we were more sophisticated drinking Bellabrusco.

That's a fair price for Sam Smiths outside of their pubs, one of my all time favourite beers is their Organic Chocolate Stout which is usually in stock at The House of Trembling Madness in York and costs around a fiver a bottle.

At least it's 500ml though, i've paid £12 for a single 440ml can once. The beer inside was incredible, to be fair
