Been listening to a fair bit of KB today, fantastic, truly unique and equally bamboozling at the same time.

December will be magic is still one of my favourite Xmas songs, and I remember it being on my mums Xmas playlist belting round the house, but funnily she’s doesn’t!

She's unique and has gotten more interesting as she's aged. Her worldview, and the way it shapes her output, is very much her own and she clearly doesn't give a hoot what anyone thinks about that. 50 Words For Snow and The Director's Cut are personal favourites for me.

Yep watched that, that’s what started me listening to her, it was very interesting.

What was most interesting is that there was a whole documentary on her, and yet not 10 seconds of it interviewing her.

I suppose that probably sums her up

I always think of it as one of the finest pieces of classical music of the 20th century.
