Kate, Princess of Wales - not seen this year.

Inspring them to do what?

Marry a prince?

Is she to blame for Meghan?
If you are to quote me please quote the whole thing not cut and paste what suits your narrative. I said "and for some an inspiration" I stand by that comment as you can clearly see a lot of people out there do and generally are concerned about her health and she is an inspiration for many. If that is the case then why would that be a negative. I am not discussing the merits of the royal family here just the health of a person. Nothing more nothing less.

That may be the case but its this general attitude a certain percentage of society has these days. Is there any reason to say anything. Knowing that there are many people who share his view and will jump all over it with other similar comments is the real reason he said what he said. I was brought up if you don't have anything good to say, then say nothing.

I feel this message board is deteriorating to the point the only thing I enjoy are the music threads.
What about the attitude of deference a certain percentage of society has?

Calm down lads and lasses, she's just back in Park End visiting her Mam and Dad that's all. They still live on Overdale near the top end (It's nice up there)
I saw her in the VG the other day buying a scratch card and 20 Lambert.

It doesn't, obviously, but all of the unnecessary media attention is pathetic.
In fairness Rico - the media attention has been almost non existent.
FMTTM doesn’t really count
That is rather unusual - contrast the clarity, transparency and media attention for the King’s illness

An inspiration for what?

How does she inspire people - what are they aspiring to that she is a role-model for?
Scrote not all people think the way you do. There is nothing wrong with having a different opinion. From what I see in the news and read in papers she genuinely has a good heart and many people look up to her. She genuinely looks likes she has a positive effect on many people from what i see. I hope she recovers. She is not my role model so you are barking up the wrong tree asking me those questions. I was just commenting on a post about another human who I see from the outside myself as a decent person. That is my opinion. I am sure there are many articles about her and how she has affecting people in a positive way. Do your own research. The royal family does not affect my life. Trudeau does but that is another matter. The 12" of snow in my driveway right now does and demands my immediate care so I can get the car out of the garage :)

You introduced the idea that she was an inspiration. Surely to come to that conclusion you must have an example or two of what she inspires people to?

She doesn't have to be your role-model for you to explain what you've seen that makes here an inspiration.

Why would I waste time doing research on a subject that doesn't interest me. You must have some evidence or you wouldn't have posted with such conviction.

Can’t be arsed to read the whole thing, but I will ask my perennial question every time this comes up, how much does the royal family cost a UK tax payer every week?
I’m sure I’ll get the usual responses about it’s not about cost, it’s about how much of the country they own, blah blah blah but will not get a definitive answer

I care for all people. What a sad comment. This forum is starting to be like twitter with some of the comments. She is a mother of 3 children, a daughter, a sister and for some an inspiration. It just shows you up as a vile individual with zero passion for mankind. Tim will be turning in his grave how his once simple message board has turned into.
What has she done to be an inspiration to anyone?

Define what you mean by 'cost'. Are you just talking about the grants the royals get annually or are we able to include other costs associated with them?

What about the money that goes to the royals when people in the Duchy of Cornwall die intestate - is that a cost or just plain theft?

Because republicans think more than about the cost.
Their astonishing wealth for instance - all because they were born to the right people.
You see, we think that is rather unfair particularly when kids are going hungry, people can’t get a hospital appointment, our rivers are full of schoite etc

Their net worth is an eye watering £28bn
None of it taxed

So little?
The next well deserved taxpayer funded handout can't come quick enough.
