Kate, Princess of Wales - not seen this year.

So there you go....are people happy now 😡😡😡 Been pushed into this and the amount of stress and anguish they've had to deal with while learning and processing and beginning to deal with her "Arthur". I feel for her, William, the kids and the family as their journey has remarkably mirrored mine over the last 3 months. She looks like she's dealing with it the Legz way and I'm willing her on....now people need to just leave them get on with it

Press release from Jan -

"The surgery was successful and it is expected that she will remain in hospital for ten to fourteen days, before returning home to continue her recovery. Based on the current medical advice, she is unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter."

The Palace continued, "The Princess of Wales appreciates the interest this statement will generate. She hopes that the public will understand her desire to maintain as much normality for her children as possible; and her wish that her personal medical information remains private.
This post pretty much nails someone asking for respect but nobody wanting to respect that

Well out of order trying to make people feel guilty about speculating or making jokes on this thread. Trying to score points at this point is surely just as bad, if not worse?

The point is there was no information, so pretending or implying people made comments knowing she was seriously ill is bad form.

For the Royals: you can't encourage people to obsess over every detail of your life but then complain when people obsess over every detail of your life. You can't have it both ways.

HOWEVER I do have some sympathy for Kate, as I'm not sure she really fully bought into the life and she obviously had her doubts before marrying William.

And I definitely have a lot of sympathy for her the person, the mother. I genuinely wish her all the best as I would anyone in a similar situation. Hope she comes through it and lives a long and happy life. 🙏

Don't think there is anything shameful. The "conspiracists" were correct. There was something else going on that hadn't been released and the PR could have been better.

I'm fairly certain that nobody has expressed any ill will towards Kate or any of the other Royals on a personal level. It is the institution that people have a problem with and not the people themselves (noncey uncle Andrew aside).

I hope she makes a full recovery.
