Kieran Scott

I agree some posters were totally ignoring the stats in the early games - at WBA I think we had 16 goal attempts to WBA's 9 and somehow managed to lose 4-2.

I did think some of our defending was half hearted at times in the early games. I don't why but it was. At the other end quite a few sitters missed.

Don’t mention the xG!!

the upturn in results have largely been as a result of a return to experience with the newer inexperienced kids being introduced slowly. largely from the bench.
That is actually what he did in the first game against Millwall. The only new players were Rogers and Dieng. Coulson was sort of new. He was unlucky in that he had two of his most experienced players (Smith & Howson) plus his irreplaceable star (Akpom) out all pre-season. The main odd thing about that line up is his insistence on playing Rogers (a winger) as a centre forward and Forss (a centre forward) as a winger.

I think there were several different things that combined here but I reckon the main one was that he appeared to be trying to copy Brighton's tactics, leaving the players looking uncertain. It took him a few games to untangle that.

If it ever gets to the stage that we are Sacking Carrick for results please make sure we sack this fella at the same time too. He’s been brought in to sort our recruitment out. He’s made us ten times worse.

Cheers Kieran. Next time you do a press conference smarten up aswell, you always look like a bit of a scruff.
Comments like this are what’s wrong with our fanbase, hopefully Kieron didn’t read it.

All them loan players needing replacing could have set us up for failure luckily Carrick has turned it round.Hopefully Boro learn from them mistakes.
