Yeah I like a bit of the music... always were a bit off it with their manifesto and stuff... They kept a tight grip on their back catalogue stuff until recently.

I was told it many years ago by someone I trust. And he told me well before it became a hit.
I haven't been able to verify it but I believe he was being truthful. How he originally found out and whether he himself had been hoodwinked I don't know.
Though I do know KLF were in Teesside in the late 80s. Or is it on Teesside? I can't remember if that debate was resolved

KLF were absolutely nuts and since a previous poster brought books into it, I remember reading The Manual while still at school. I loved the idea that someone could publish a book that contained a "fool proof" way anyone could get a Number 1 record.
