Latte Lath tomorrow

Always better to start newbies in home games where possible and as the next two are away……… Engel to start, Lath should start, but will probably be benched and given a run second half and Boro to win 2-1 with goals from Engel and McGree. Howson should be back in as skipper too.

I'm pretty sure Engel will start. Coulson took a knock last saturday, and I noticed he was nowhere to be seen on the training video from wednesday, whereas Engel was fully involved.

Hope we don't have another slow burner like Jordan Rhodes. Didn't we sign him for a big £10m fee? Only to watch him run up and down the subs touchline for weeks. Think he then progressed to 3 minute cameos.
Ball-achingly slow introduction

Lathe will be in the team next week. He didn't train this week so would be a gamble that he clicked with team mates that he hasn't kicked a ball with. Might get a sub appearance though

The fact they are training and have squad numbers means we have all the clearances I believe. Both are match fit I think and we need a win. Start both.

Signed on the 1st of February, made a couple of cameos from the bench in the first week, scoring in the second one, then started 13 of the last 17 games, and played most of the minutes.

Doesn't seem that slow.

I think he should start along with Engel, Warnock would have watched videos of how we play with Coulson, Rogers & Crooks but he wont know what to expect from our 2 new signings due to them not playing in our team obviously. The Huddersfield defenders wont know what to expect with Latte up front. I see Huddersfield have got a new forward and I bet Warnock starts him if he got clearance in time for tomorrow's match.

He won’t need videos he witnessed it last Tuesday. He witnessed that Diallo lad pulling out wide and tearing Coulson a new one

If Boro had won their first two games then I can imagine Carrick easing them in over a few games. As things stand they have to start for me.

Well he trained on wednesday. Might be a gamble playing him but playing Crooks and Rogers up front again is not going to win you games.
I'd prefer for us to take the gamble and start him, rather than persevering with something which hasn't been working.

Unless Carrick is willing to start Forss up front, which I highly doubt.

In the video I saw he just stood on the sidelines and talked to Carrick. I get the impression he has trained since then, so am hopeful for a start, but expect to see him on the bench.

Huddersfield at 4-1 odds to win is tempting again, i very rarely bet on matches involving us but I’ve made over a hundred quid backing us to lose our last two games - I’ll see what our line up is first before i decide

Do you think so? Maybe a debut away from home takes the pressure off a little bit while they get used to teammates. Especially if they've not been training together for long.
Then they can come out all guns blazing for the home debut.
But I do want them both to start tomorrow.
