League 1 is a cracking league.....

It is so competitive in league 1 with so many Ex premier league teams in there. Automatic promotion no longer an expectation ( Blunderland, Derby, Portsmouth, Ipswich will all testify to that) in a way it can help rejuvenate big clubs also. May be the kick up the backside we need to sort the club out. Would be interesting to see clubs we wouldn’t usually play and visit their grounds for a change. UTB

A trip to Catterick might be the best kick up the backside (y)

Our squad would be very different if we went down.
Hackney, Lenihan, McNair, Fry, Forss, McGree and a few others would be off either by choice or necessity.
It doesn't bear thinking about which is why I'm fearful that that is exactly where we are heading.

Would be gutted about Hackney & Fry, the rest I wouldn’t be too bothered.

Hull City being the exception of course, slipped down into League 1 and smashed it as champions at the first attempt.
