Lincoln City’s 90th minute winner on Friday

Went there in November and saw them play Port Vale, trying to do the 92.

Nice set up and had a very vocal following in the main stand. Good luck to them.

Their fans are really good
617 squadron was formed over 10 years ago to boost the atmosphere - It’s their Red Faction.

First time I went to the ground there were only about 3000 there (pre the promotions and cup runs) and the squadron were fantastic then too.

Would be great to see Boro there next season
They are in good form at the moment

They are and have to go to two of their biggest rivals soon - Stevenage and Oxford.

What makes it Roy of the Rovers stuff?
Is there a back story to the goal/goalscorer?

No, just an interpreation
Bundled off the ball, loses his head and ends up banging in the winner

Sorry, if it was just mundane for some

Didn't say it was mundane, last minute winners never are.
I just wondered if I'd missed a Roy of the Rovers story. To me, that normally indicates a back story.
Like the goalscorer is a local lad, only in the squad because of injuries, came on as a 90th minute sub and scores the winner in front of his grandad who made his debut for Lincoln in 1950.
