Loan Wolf - Ryan Giles 🐺

They’ve got a great academy Wolves. However much he will want to play for them, he probably realises it’s going to be difficult and most likely wouldn’t turn down a permanent move to Boro if we get promoted and he has a chance to play premier league football.

I think people are potentially panicking a bit to much around the summer and not being able to coax players, keep players and have a good squad if we don't go up.

Looking back, when we were beaten 2-0 by Norwich, we lost Bamford yes but the rest stayed. Even better was there was now a trust between Gibson and Karanka and he gave him funds to go get those players that made us that bit better and pushed us over the line.

I think it'll be a similar scenario, the trust is there, we now have a good DOF and I think If we do stay down we'll spend and we'll come out of the window looking very strong.

Giles I think will come here regardless of division. No way he gets in that Wolves team and he's clearly happy here. I'd be very surprised if we didn't get it done early in the window

Very good video that.

I get the feeling from that video, the staff from Wolves think he'll need to move on to get regular PL games.

Wolves already have some very good full backs and will no doubt recruit again this summer, so Giles will no doubt find it tough getting in that first 11 and playing week in week out.

If we go up, I think there's a realistic chance we sign him on a permanent. If not, then certainly another 1 year loan deal.

I got an irrational tinge of fury watching that. Why are all these wolves people talking about 'their' player.
Made me realise how much I rate him and how much I want him here long term.
