I bought the hatchet and the axes

I brought the machete home from work.

Is there any actual data that shows these kind of murders etc are increasing pro rata or is it just another isolated example that has happened at a rate
that is standard year for year as most people dont seem to have a clue about reality and just tend to react to news headlines

I mean, why bother reacting emotionally at the murder of a stranger in london when kids are getting bombed or sunk attemting to emigrate every few hours?

Or is it just the legal construct that murder is different to wars etc, its all very confusing to me
