I think it means the fact we are letting it rip now seems very dangerous. No testing or restrictions and limited vaccination

Yes but the dataset should have been published on 6th December. The government have now delayed it.

Make of that what you will, but the rumour is that the data looks terrible so they don’t want to release it in the run up to Christmas.

Most sensible people still test and isolate etc if they have symptoms.


Unfortunately there is a growing element of the population who have selective memory… and think that because we appear “out of the woods” , everything that happened a few years ago was blown out of proportion and we didn’t need all the vaccines and lockdowns etc.

I think it would be impossible to convince the UK public to do any of those things again in future.

No. Why does everything need to be an extreme these days? It's not a choice of either no mitigations at all or the strongest possible mitigation. I don't understand why, in the modern world, there is no subtlety everything most be back or white
