I have already highlighted him on here a week ago - phyical strong but good feet as well, can hold the ball up. Plenty of Championship experience and very good goal scoring record.

Seemed to lurk in the shadows at Wednesday for years. Then a £5m move to Reading saw him come to life with goals galore.
I’d be a bit worried about which ‘version’ we’d get (but I can guess )

He missed about half of this season.

79 leagues games in 3 seasons - suggests he does miss 40% of their games so some injury history. Obviously a detailed medical required and maybe transfer fee based on future appearences.

9 league goals from open play this season and 3 assists despite injuries.

He's been in England since 2015 so not exotic.

His worst season in England was 2015/16, he has tended to improve season on season which to me is a good sign. Was EFL Champiuonship player of the month in Feb 2022.

I was watching some of the Luton/Reading game and he looked easily the best forward on the pitch. OK just one game but it was his last one.

Not sure he’s “energetic” enough with his closing down for wilder. Was too busy actually scoring goals

OK - he is 29 in September and no terrier, but any manager is going to struggle to find a well built striker who is fast and terrier like. Build wise he looks like a slightly slimmer Lukaku and is 4 months younger.

To me you need a physical strong forward who can play with a slightly more nimble one say Watmore.

Joao looked much more agile than say Ikpeazu but has a similar body strength.
