Hope that car park is the owner of a large insurance policy

Apparently car owners have to claim on their own insurance, so it looks like no liability for the car park owners!

Will be cars in there on third party insurance not the old TP-Fire & Theft. So not sure who will pay, will probably the insurers of the car where it started. Good luck finding which of the EV's exploded first, got to be some CCTV footage, if it turns out to be an EV then we'll never see it. Hey ho.

They know exactly which car it was and It was a diesel car not an EV, Maybe a cigarette left in there or an electrical fault? It just spread before the could put it out,

The insurers will have to pay out where cars covered fully comp or 3PF&T. I doubt they would then seek to recover from the firestarter car owner, as their car insurance policy wont cover for accidently setting fire to 1500 cars and ther would be little to be gained for making them bankrupt by going after them personally.
