M&S Christmas Advert

It doesn’t happen or appear in the advert.. nor does it appear to be originally included in the image itself.. the burning hats seem to have been added later!

Not even weird or suspect.. it’s blatant.

I don’t think the original image the hats were on fire. Possibly flames added later? I’d read they were just in the grate.

When I visited Manger Square in Bethlehem on more than one ocassion, it was still in the illegally occupied West Bank of Palestine. Unless it has moved geographically, then the Palestinian flag is wholy appropriate? Jesus was a Gallilean Jew [an Arab] but is not believed to be the messiah or the means of ressurection in Judaism. He rebelled and was crucified by the Romans. He also features in the Koran.​

Isn't the problem more to do with burning the colours of the flag as opposed to how appropriate or otherwise it is to use flag in a Christmas advert?

BTW, what's the netting for? To keep pigeons away?

It's absurd to say the M&S advert is anti-Palestine, when it's very obviously anti-IRA instead.

Some good points made but the actual reason there should be a boycott of M&S is that a meal deal is now five pounds.
