Absolutely no idea why it couldn't be the same day as the rest of us earlier this month though.

It would have have been England playing on Saturday if they'd finished 2nd in the group.

There are still other League 1 and 2 games playing on Saturday though, but it might be that those on Friday decided to bring kick off forward just in case, like championship teams have been offered if England get to the quarters
