Majuba was once what locals called the mound / hillock at the roadside which I presume is no longer there. I don't know it's purpose. Maybe a sight screen, partly covering Warrenby works, or maybe to stop over- hit golf balls hitting passing cars?

I think they are also building a hotel there and at one point they were talking about building a small arena on the site of the old Coatham Bowl.

The Car Park at night has become a race track for the young scroats. I love a walk from there to South Gare, lovely and quiet

Not since the battle of Milbank Terrace when coatham in it’s entirety was captured by the Redcar Casuals battalion in the early 20th century.

When they filmed Boat Story there, the dog ran on the set and peed up the boat. The director wasn't too chipper.

I could have whistled him back before he went on the set but I thought we'd have a bit of fun.
