It must be horrendous having billionaire owners, being forced to watch one sided football week in week out. We are what football is all about, watching Saville and Assombalonga week in week out.

Credit to City, their fans have seen them struggle for years, the butt of jokes in a two team City, relegated & relegated again to the then third division & only going up via the playoffs, they deserve it for me, they showed their loyalty & now getting pay back

It's a strange one with City. Those of us old enough remember them being absolutely awful. They were so average Boro beat them each season. Being financially backed by an oil rich Country has changed everything.

If you were a genuine City fan (the type who was there when they were third division) would you really care?

My brother is a City fan and frankly he is indifferent. He is old enough to be a boy in the Kippax street enjoying Joe Mercer’s great team of 1968.

Won't pretend I wouldn't enjoy being a genuine Man City fan from Manchester.

I'd hate the global plastic followers, dubious owners and media ******, but the football is often brilliant as is the manager.

I would think so, we had a small dip in that pool in the mid 90's for a few seasons & it was certainly enjoyable at times, won nothing then, infact heartache comes to mind but fans lapped it up, don't think many genuine fans would wish they were back in the third division of 86, maybe me mind 😉

To me, of all the top premier teams Man City and Leicester are the most down to earth. The BBC, Sky and BT do not cream their pants over either of them,

Man City are the only team in the Premier League that I bother to watch if they are live on TV.

Watching their game tonight, after watching our game earlier, was like watching two different sports.

Me too, I lost interest in the Premier League a long time ago but i would watch City. I enjoy their type of attacking football and goals are guaranteed at one end or the other.
