Manchester City - the double treble

Looks on. And in truth I can’t see them not actually achieving it.

And probably next season as well.

All of which would, in my opinion, be disastrous for the European/even global game.

Is there an argument that maybe they should reign it in a bit, so as not to draw further attention towards all the (alleged) cheating they’ve been doing over the past decade?

Although I would rather see a church burn down than Liverpool win the league, I think they will pip both City and Arsenal this season.

Don't think they'll win the league tbh. Liverpool and Arsenal are tearing teams apart at the moment and City are grinding out wins in the league, and always look much shakier and more susceptible to conceding than the other two. Could see them not winning their upcoming games against either too.

I hope you’re right, but I can see both sides choking in the final weeks.

City have some huge games coming up in the league with the Man Utd H, Liverpool A, Brighton A, Arsenal H, and Villa H. They also have København in the Champions league.

In what way?

I think they’ll do the treble this season. And probably next season.
Have I misread what you are saying? I mentioned Liverpool would pip them and you said 'Doubt they’ll even pip them. I expect they’ll have it sewn up with 2 games to go'.

Did you mean City would have it sewn up with two games to go?

Yes, sorry. I meant they won’t even win it narrowly, they’ll win it with a couple of games to spare.

Arsenal looking good atm. All to play for. City still likely to concede goals which gives other teams hope. I actually think they are most likely to win the champions league again than either the premier league or FA cup. March and early April will probably decide things. How sad we have to focus on other teams as our season is over already!

You've got to remember though that City are still well in the mix despite having their two best players Haaland and de bruyne out for much of the season.
Both are now back and firing on all cylinders (haaland got 5 goals today with 4 assisted by de bruyne) so sadly I think they'll win the league and at least one of the cups they are still in and wouldn't surprise me if it's the Champions League again.
I suppose the key though will be if they get stripped of any of their trophies if they are found guilty of cheating

I really hope they don’t win all 3 and especially the league, but it’s looking difficult for anyone to stop them. In Europe there’s only Real Madrid who would have the belief.

In the Premier League, March is a huge month. Pretty sure Man City play Arsenal, Liverpool, Brighton, Aston Villa. They’ve got to lose two of those games for others to have a chance.

See this is why i think City will win it.

Whilst Arsenal and Liverpool are easy on the eye at the moment and putting teams the sword they will have off games where points will be dropped and this current form wont last in my opinion.

City, usually at the turn of the year transform into a machine and put together a winning streak that takes them all the way. It's slightly different this season in that they are not beating teams 2, 3, 4 nil and are facing pressure in each game but they are grinding out results. They have almost transformed into a machine that just gets it done and are not overly bothered on doing it in style like they have in years gone by. That said, for me, City still have another gear or two to go and i don't see that with Liverpool and Arsenal. I still think its a question of can either of them keep up.

Re the treble, its definitely on and it will be most seasons. Realistically, i can only see Real Madrid stopping them in the Champions League who on their day are as good as anyone and experts in that competition.
