Nothing about this in any credible news source inc in Argentina it seems to have been a twitter rumour repeated on football message boards. So I’m sceptical about this esp as it’s the same story on all the sites.

They have been sacked and apologised but nothing else confirmed.

Employees at a morgue who photographs posing alongside Diego Maradona’s dead boy have apologised for the distress they have caused, while at least one is believed to have lost his job.

Just watching “Diego Maradona (2019)” at the moment. Was on Channel 4 yesterday. Really good film. It actually makes me feel sorry for him. One quote was that there was Diego (who people liked) then there was Maradona (who they didn’t). When asked he said that Maradona was the part of him that dragged him from the ghetto. Seems he had a twin personality. Unfortunately it looks like the Maradona one took over his life, even after he retired.

There's no reliable source reporting that they're dead, that I can find. As far as I can tell, it remains an unconfirmed social media rumour.

Just checked the wires again including the Argentine press and still nothing about the workers being killed.

I think we can consign This to nothing more than a made up rumour.
