Marijuana use is so common now that I’d say the side effects are currently there for all to see.
I’ve grew with people who smoked it from youth into middle age, they have common ‘issues’. Mental health is poor with elevated paranoia and they seem to live in a fantasy cartoon world. You can’t believe a word they say.
I remember my neighbour getting pulled for having no car insurance, he honestly thought someone had hacked his account and cancelled his insurance to get him in bother. Where the more realistic reason was his wife emptied his bank account to buy amphetamines.
Have tried it myself and really don’t like the anxiety and depression it caused, however only recently kicked the booze and come to realise that caused anxiety and depression too.
If it ever came to a referendum I’m not which way I’d vote tbh. It’s practically legal now anyways, and you can’t deny booze is every bit as bad.
