Massive match this weekend

Genuinely looking forward to watching it tbh.

Hope Newcastle humiliate them, but both sides pick up (non-career ending) lots of injuries.
 
If Sunderland can beat Newcastle the fans will dine out on the result for at least a decade and beal might last the season. I really hope they do Newcastle are a reprehensible club
 
Surely no Boro fan can want newcastle to win this one?

Although the biggest derby in the country does make me laugh. Sure no one south of York could name more than five Sunderland players. Two very insignificant clubs throughout my generation who both think they’re massive (despite not actually winning anything for 50 years)
 
I absolutely want Newcastle to smash them. Can’t stand Sunderland. Don’t like Newcastle either but despise Sunderland.

Can’t wait to watch it.
 
Hope Sunderland win can't stand the Saudi Newcastle now. Used to prefer Newcastle over Sunderland but now they are owned by the Saudis totally detest them and it's wrong the media give them so much extra coverage.

I'd rank Leeds as a distance third when it comes to dislike.

1. Sunderland.
2. Newcastle.
3. Leeds

Though Sunderland is only higher because of exposure in the last 7 years.
I'm sure Newcastle would start to climb again if we were ever to actually play them consistently again.

I just struggle to care about them these days to be honest.

I'd imagine many of their fans don't give us a second thought, whereas I've been on the Mackem board and read through the large threads they've had on us in recent times, all of the derogatory comments.

I also feel their fans are even more delusional than the Geordies. I don't like saying it but to be fair I've always looked upon Newcastle as being a genuine big club, whereas I've always just regarded Sunderland as a bit of a laughing stock, yet their fans go on as if they're massive.

The Geordies are definitely there for the taking, they’re really struggling at the moment. Howe must be shi*ing himself at the prospect of losing this one.
