Mathew Perry Dead

Was just reading that. Gutted tbh. Was found in his jacuzzi with no foul play. Would hazard a guess his body just gave up after all the abuse. Bless him RIP

Went the same way as Whitney. I’m not surprised by the news but saddened by the fact that despite all the help he got from (so called) top notch people they still couldn’t help him. Like so many Hollywooders they’re beyond help.

Yes always a shock to learn of an iconic TV actor passing away that young.

You can have all the fame, adoration and wealth in the world but it doesn’t bring happiness and clearly Perry was a very ill and unhappy man from about series 3 of the series onwards. In his life never had relationships for very long, never married.

Jumping the gun there a bit… police have already said that no drugs have been found at the property and until a cause of death is confirmed by a PM it is being treated as a heart attack

Big shock that one, think most people have seen friends.

One of the first things I did when I met my wife was watch the whole series through as she had it on dvd. Think I’d seen most of them before

I’d then beat her and her sister at the friends board game which they where absolutely devastated about because they didn’t give me a chance

Such sad news to wake up to. He was a brilliant comedic actor, sadly fame brought some difficulties to his door and he battled away for years. 54 is no age to pass, but he wont have to struggle with those demons any more and his clever, funny and wonderful acting will live forever in our minds. R.I.P Matthew.

Yes comedians making other people laugh often vary from neurotic to depression. In fact at the Edinburgh Fringe this year quite a few stand ups talked about mental health and how what they did masked deep insecurities with themselves. It’s very thought provoking.
This will be a more difficult watch now, but it’s also a tribute to the man - honest, funny, touching. Well worth the time.
