Its rvb who is the real deal he is the only defender at the club capable of playing at a higher levelYou’re gonna die on that hill. I’ve got to respect it.
You will realise one day how good Clarke is

Its you who is calling him the messiah after every game. Hes a reasonably good defender at this level whilst hes playing alongside the best defender in the championship. We all know that though. Clarke is criminally undervalued from fans like you and Norman.
Thankfully most of us know he’s a great defender for this level and a perfect leader to play alongside VDB.
We are in the championship and he’s a good championship CB.

Fry is a local lad so you have to remove 0.5 of a pointStatistically they're it's very little between Clarke and fry. Scoring about 7.0 each season.
I suppose it is nothing at all to do with Latte Lath returning from injury and finding the goal trail.Seen our form in the last couple of months with Clarke and VDB with Dael Fry no where to be seen
We will agree to disagree and see what happens in the Summer / next season. You are talking out of your backside. Like most home grown players, they are targeted by the boo boys.
I’m not saying Fry is a world beater but he’s so much more of an all round footballer than Clarke in all departments.
And ayling performing well at the backI suppose it is nothing at all to do with Latte Lath returning from injury and finding the goal trail.

It is to do with clarke of course but your the one singling out an individual as the sole reason for the turnaround. Baldini this and that rvb doesn't get half the mentions in comparisonNothing at all to do with Clarke then? Honestly. The agenda is brutal from you and normal
This is what I am saying, VDB is a class apart with bags of potential, Clarke compliments him better than anyone else we have.Clarke has played well but lets not kid ourselves hes a fairly limited if effective defender. I think half the plaudits are for his fully committed style over actual quality but to me a better defender doesn't need to play in that way.
Arguably Mom agaisnt an awful Cardiff side but he was horribly exposed for pace by leeds time after time in the previous match. The rvb clarke partnership maybe good enough for this level and reminds me a bit of the Mowbray pally partnership. However Clarke to me isnt as good a player as Mowbray was and like mogga clarke will never have the pace to be anything higher than a championship defender
I like how Clarke is prepared to come out and actually confront the attacker rather than just trying to show them left or right on to their weaker foot to get a shot off like most CBs seem to do. Clarke will come out and tackle them.I'd have no issues whatsoever with Clarke and RVDB as our first choice pairing next season. Seem to complement each other really well and both comfortable playing out from back.
Clarke is certainly not purely a stopper, but he's more aggressive than the others and I think we need that a bit. We've conceded a lot of goals from standing off players too much this season. While the others are all good defenders, they're maybe all a bit too nice to play against at times.
I like him a lot. You don't get player of the year at 2 different championship clubs if you're a limited player.
Love that he was visibly annoyed about conceding the goal yesterday too.
