He had a purple patch earlier in the season but he has been very poor the last few games. Unfortunately he’s not the long term answer. Neither is Jones starting on the right. A team missing Forss, McGree and Hackney is going to struggle.

He’s played well at times usually when jones does too, he is not the man that o pull the strings as a #10 in a promotion chasing team though, a massive downgrade on what we had in Akpom.

There’s too many stop gaps in the team who aren’t good enough for where we want to be, Rogers, Silvera, Greenwood, Barlaser, all not good enough for a top 6 chasing team,

Hes not going to gain pace when Hackney returns. There isnt a no 10 in the championship as slow and unskillful as crooks

I don’t know what he’s good at. If anyone can give me a few attributes that he’s 7 or above I’d be surprised.

Passing has been awful last 2 games, and a header straight at keeper tonight that should be hitting the back of the net.

I’ve said it before as impact sub he’s ideal but he’s not good enough to start in a promotion chasing side at this level as for me he’s too one paced and lacks that the energy to join up attacks.
