Agree with this, we are too inconsistent.... It's a mental thing with us, we can battle and play well against the best team, then look poor and lose against the worst team.

let’s face it we’re long shots at making the playoffs. However with Paddy back in the lineup I feel a lot more confident that we can cut out the stupid and somewhat crazy mistakes at the back. Paddy gives us leadership and poise at the back that we’ve sadly lacked since he’s been out.

Also, McGree and O’Brien seem to be ready to take us to the end of the season, so these are big plusses for us. If we can get the likes of Latte, Jones and Coburn back then we can start make an impact upfront. Not forgetting Finn Azzaz is starting to knock the goals in so there seems to be a goal threat now from midfield.

I’m not going to get carried away. We have Plymouth next, a game we’re expected to win, they’ll probably sit in and invite us on to them.

We’ve seen all season we struggle with that.

Just had a look at what the table looked like this time last sesson.

Coventry were 11th on 42 points after 31 games, Watford were 6th on 47 points after 32 games.

Coventry won 7 of their last 15 games, losing only once.

Just can’t see us getting anywhere near that run of form, but I’ll be happy as long as we give it a go.
