I can no longer wear all my Turnbull and Asser nor my Hilditch and Key
You see, that's where you're probably going wrong. What fits today might not fit tomorrow. It's always good to keep that in mind when you're buying clothes, especially really expensive stuff.
In general terms, I know the industry pretty well which is why I would never pay those sorts of prices. I know cost and production prices and the retail prices never really add up. A large % of the customer's money is paying for other things related to the business - not the end product. It's poor value and I like good value.
The bespoke look often looks over-tailored for me. Like you've put too much effort in. I prefer a good fit more than anything and you don't need something specially made or cut to achieve it.
I've got loads of decent suits, I've picked them up in various ways over the years for not much money and sometimes free. I've got loads of Margaret Howell and Paul Smith Italian line suits
The comical part of this thread is the op is accustomed to wearing Chinese suits and people are attempting to send him around the country to spend thousands on something that isn't needed
I'd never give these types a job you know, gents. Seen too many of them before.
