MFC Players Wages

Absolutely no chance we are paying Stojanovic more than we are paying Dael Fry and Ashley Fletcher

It would be surprising if that were true hence I'm leaning towards guess work.

I'd be amazed (and equally gutted) if we were paying Bettinelli £24,5000 week

What ever they all get paid its way way above the vast majority of people.
Wonder if any would take a short term pay cut to help the club through this tough time???

I would imagine as Bettinelli is on loan it would be a percentage. It's usually a half (ish). He is in the final year of his contract and available on a free in the summer so he's probably putting himself in the shop window.

The most stunning bit is if we are shelling out 60k a week for Britt and Howson (no wonder Johnny triggered his extra year😉). That's a massive outlay on two players who could and probably will leave for nothing next summer. We won't even get any transfer fee back.

We slashed the wage bill this summer losing Ayala / Clayton / Rudy etc (god knows what they were on).

We will get shot of Britt / Fletcher / Howson and Johnson next summer unless we keep any of them. That frees up a stunning amount of money once again.

Playing devils advocate here but would you? Especially if your boss was worth £270 million.

Players only have a very short time span to set them selves up for the rest of their lives

I know footballers are unique in the daft wages they are paid but no one forces the club to pay them those wages.

Asombolonga 35k 😂
And I have lost a lot of money through this current situation.
If taking a cut stablizers your job for the future, I think it's small price to pay.
Wages in football should of been addressed along time ago.
Sky have caused the problem and the current situation may bring forward the bursting of the silly wage bubble
