Q: On leaving Portman Road last week some of the fans were saying what a week – 2 great contests, brilliant atmosphere at Hull and Ipswich. Can you as a manager and the players take any pride from being part of that or is it just disappointing to have dropped points?

MC:
Yes, there are always positives to take from any game, however tough or bad it may seem at some point. I can appreciate they were both good games of football. They were entertaining. We were trying to win it. Hull were trying to win it. Ipswich were trying to win it. We all had our own agendas and we were all going for it. On another day we could have won both with some of the opportunities we had. So there are a lot of positives to take from it.
In terms of enjoying it, I like seeing the boys express themselves and go for it and try to win the game. So, I enjoyed that side of things. It was a little bit frustrating for the results, of course, we wanted more. But yeah I definitely take the positives.

Q: Monday v Leeds will once again be a very big crowd. A big away following as well so it is bound to be another big atmosphere – and under the floodlights. Is this the sort of occasion that players love and our players can thrive in?

MC:
Yes. It is a big game and this time of year when there is still a lot to play for and a lot at stake to have a night game. This type of game, I think we can all thrive off. The supporters, players. Create a great energy, have a good night, create a good atmosphere. The boys will be up for it and will be looking for a good performance. Supporters, hopefully looking forward it. Enjoy what we have done recently and build on that and get behind the boys and try and make it a good night for us.

Q: And how important do you think it is to try and finish the season well?

MC:
Ideally it is. Of course, how much it then goes into next season is anyone's guess, really. You could finish the season strong, then next season can be a little bit different. It doesn't always work like that. But of course in terms of we just want to be the best we can be, we are greedy, we want to win every game and if we don't win it is not quite enough for us. So, I think we are hungry for more wins, we are hungry for more results. We understand Leeds is going to be a tough game but we will try and attack the game as best we can and try and win the game.
