Middlesbrough Supporters Forum statement after meeting with Steve Gibson on season card price rise

We perhaps need something a little more robust than a net between the East Stand Kidz Zone, and the away corner?
I`ve seen some opposition fans attempt to scramble over the netting to threaten the Kidz zone.
Obviously unsafe and unfair to kids and their families.

I thought the kids zone didn't start until the NE corner (well away from the away section)?

Obviously our 8 and 10 year old fans can more than handle themselves, more pity the silly away fan that finds themselves under a pile of Cattermoles!

How many seats are wasted purely out of segregation?

I think we should make Derby County pay for it

Quick questions. I thought it was £34 a match walk up but looking at the Stoke game it says £28. Also noticed that Seniors price is £20. Is that age 65 or has the club gone to 66 like the government for pensions and also do you have to be that age at the start of the season or can you qualify later in the season on your birthday?
Can't get on the club site for some reason?

I seem to recall midweek matches were being sold at a discount this season? It only applied to 5-6 Tuesday/Wednesday matches, but I think this was the idea at the start of the season.

Blf - you probably think prices are higher than they are, because a number of posters want to give this impression to make a point/their point.

I don't defend some of the pricing at the Club but I do point out that cheaper prices are available for some fans than the ones often quoted on here.

Examples

Its cheaper to buy at the ticket office is never mentioned, people quote a price with a booking fee which can be avoided if a fan buys at the ticket office.

In general :

Fans don't quote the NW/SW corners which are £1 cheaper for walk ups than the North and South Stand.

Fans don't quote concessions for over 65s which are quite generous - 35% off? - against Stoke £19 per ticket in SW corner. So of you are 66 before the 15th March 2023 you can get a £19 ticket. Its nothing to do with August, thats for Season tickets and its not directly connected with state pension age. In reality you probably will not be asked if you look 66 when buying a match ticket.

Fans don't quote discounts for 18-21 on season tickets - 40% off?

Fans don't quote discounts for mid week games - which I think is £4 per ticket all around the stadium - against Stoke £15 for under 18 in S/W corner.

Fans don't quote that an assistant for those fans with a disability, go for free, so if the assistant is a fan its effectivly 2 for 1.

An Adult Season ticket in the family section gets the childs season ticket free (if they are under 11)
