Incredible pictures in this book that Paul Menzies has unearthed - 19th century views of the lane that became Acklam Road. Similarly Marton Road. And he has then cleaned up the photos and then again through painstaking research and the latest techniques has carefully colourised the images - so it is like travelling back in time in and around Middlesbrough.
